  3. After choosing a location, check the schedule, then decide what level you are, how many classes per week you would like to take, and then select either of the payment options in the yellow boxes on this page!

 

Note:

NEW and Beginner level dancers:
Dancers start off by learning softshoe dances: You can sign up for 10 softshoe classes, one class per week (yellow box on the left), or 20 softshoe classes, two classes per week (yellow box on the right)

After two-four months (approx.), dancers start learning hardshoe dances: hardshoe class is taken as an additional class!

Advanced Beginners, Novice, Prizewinner, Championship level dancers:
10 classes softshoe and 10 classes hardshoe:  (yellow box on the right)

Also we offer discounts for taking additional classes!

One hour of softshoe class per week: (NEW and Beginner level dancers)

Virtual (Zoom) Classes:

Video Classes:

Class times: In your own time!
Class location: In your own space!
Class duration: Each class is expected to last an hour!

Video Classes are sent by email and feature the following:

  • Introduction
  • Warmup
  • Stretching
  • Counting the music
  • Technique exercises:
  • Foot position
  • Leg position
  • Body stance
  • Arms
  • Ankle exercises

All of the above are demonstrated for the dancer to ‘follow along’…

Moves: moves and combinations are taught from different angles

Dances: both traditional and contemporary dances are taught

All dances are taught by breaking them down and dancing them slowly, medium, and then fast.
