When Isabella was 4 years old, her grandmother took her to see Irish dancers perform at in Irish Festival in her hometown. Isabella was enthralled by the dancers and begged her parents to bring her to dance class. Her wishes granted, Isabella began classes at just 4 years old and quickly began competing at the age of 5 for the Johnston School of Irish Dance (Syracuse, NY), where she continued dancing competitively through high school. Isabella danced both solos and teams at many Mid-Atlantic Region Oireachtas’, Nationals, and Worlds, taking multiple Regional and National titles in both 8-hand Celi and the 16-hand figure.

After high school, Isabella was not quite ready to hang up her shoes. In 2016, she founded the Irish dance group at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY, where she studied Psychology and Spanish. The dance team had extreme success, and even won the University’s “Best New Campus Group of the Year!” Isabella recently relocated to Manhattan from Rochester, NY where she taught solos and teams at the Goodwin Academy of Irish Dance. Outside of dance, Isabella has her Master’s Degree in HR Development and works full time as an HR Business Partner.

Isabella loves sharing her passion for Irish dance with young dancers. She leverages her experience and love for the art to teach and inspire students at the Niall O’Leary School of Irish Dance to achieve their own dance goals!
