Dear Friends of the Niall O’Leary School of Irish Dance,

Because of the time, talent, and treasures shared by so many of our students, teachers, parents, musicians, local community and business leaders, the NOL School of Irish Dance is able to continue our long- standing tradition of instilling an appreciation and love of Irish culture, with an understanding of the importance of connecting to the music while dancing.

This year, we will have our first annual online auction following our Manhattan Dance Marathon, our school’s major fundraiser. The proceeds from this year’s dance marathon and online auction will help us raise funds for the “Costume and Travel Fund”, and to send a team of dancers to the 50th World Irish Dancing Championships, held in Dublin, Ireland, in April 2021. In addition, we will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Niall O’Leary School of Irish Dance later this year.

The auction will end on the evening of June 2, 2020, at 8.00 PM. New items will be added daily. Log on and share in our excitement for this very special occasion. #MDM20

Celebrate Ireland on Leap Day with the Niall O’Leary School of Irish Dance at our most exciting event of the year — the Manhattan Dance Marathon!

The 2020 Manhattan Dance Marathon (#MDM20) is a fundraising event organized by the Niall O’Leary School of Irish Dance. The Marathon goes from 2pm to 2am, dancing in as many of Manhattan’s Irish bars as possible in one day. Each performance features 5 minutes of high-energy Irish dance featuring dancers from the school.

We’ll be raising money for students’ costumes and travel to competitions near and far, including the World Irish Dance Championships in Dublin, Ireland in April 2020. Sponsor a dancer ahead of time or drop a few dollars in the hat on 2/29.

All dancers, parents, relatives, and friends are invited to join us!
